Starting Salary: £26,000 – £30,000

About the Practice:
A well-established small animal practice operating across three independent sites is hiring an RVN to join its experienced clinical team. The main site includes a purpose-built, gold standard cat-only clinic and is equipped to handle the majority of surgical and medical cases in-house, reducing the need for referral.

The practice has 38 staff, including a nursing team of 16, and supports an open culture focused on CPD, learning and development. It is also a teaching practice and offers strong mentoring support from an experienced team.

The Role:
This is a varied role with a mix of surgical and consulting duties. You should be confident managing most surgical cases, including schedule 3 procedures, and comfortable working independently as well as within a supportive team. There is flexibility to shape the role around your clinical interests, and further development is encouraged.

Responsibilities include:
• Surgical nursing, including schedule 3 procedures
• Consulting and client care
• Supporting the nursing team, with potential to coach trainee nurses
• Working as part of a collaborative clinical team

Requirements:
• RVN with several years’ experience in practice
• Strong client care and communication skills
• Organised, efficient and reliable
• Further qualifications are welcome but not essential
• Ability to coach others is desirable (Clinical Coach qualification optional)
