Senior Nurse vacancy in Wiltshire
Salary: £35,000 – £39,000

About the Practice:
A long-established small animal veterinary practice operating across three independent sites is seeking an experienced Senior Veterinary Nurse to join the team. The clinic offers a high standard of care with well-equipped facilities allowing the majority of cases to be managed in-house with minimal need for referral. The team culture is open, supportive and committed to CPD, teaching and development.

The clinical team includes 38 staff, with a nursing team of 17, and every site is supported by an efficient and collaborative management structure.

The Role:
This is a senior leadership position responsible for maintaining clinical standards across all three sites. Working closely with the Senior Vet, Clinical Manager and Practice Manager, you will be involved in:
• Clinical management and the development of clinical protocols
• Induction, coaching and supervision of clinical staff
• Recruitment and HR processes related to the nursing team
• Ensuring compliance with RCVS standards
• Supporting a positive team culture

Requirements:
• Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN), ideally with RPA or RLA accreditation
• Must be an experienced clinical coach
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in practice, ideally with leadership responsibility
• Strong consulting and client care skills
• Organised, efficient and confident in managing a larger team
• Further qualifications in leadership or management are desirable

Working Pattern and Benefits:
• Monday to Friday 8.30am – 7pm (4 day week), with lunch break and tea/coffee breaks
• One in five Saturdays 9am – 1pm
• No on-call or OOH (covered externally)
